Kish Academic Editing

is owned by Kathleen V. Kish, PhD. With more than thirty years experience as a university professor and administrator, she is keenly attuned to the academic environment, both in the United States and abroad. Among her publications are three multilingual scholarly editions. Her experience as a journal editor and as a reader for university presses attests to her credibility as an academic editor. She has served as occasional reviewer and panelist for the National Endowment for the Humanities and as a consultant for the Modern Language Association’s Committee on Scholarly Editions. In her role as department chair in three different universities, she mentored numerous young faculty, an activity that often entailed providing them with editorial assistance and publishing advice. Dr. Kish holds a doctorate in Spanish literature and has been named an Honorary Fellow of the Hispanic Society of America. A life member of the Modern Language Association, she also belongs to the San Diego Professional Editors Network (SD/PEN), the Published Writers of Rossmoor (Walnut Creek, CA), and the American Association of University Women.
